ANC promises 'better life' at manifesto launch, South Africa

Cyril Ramaphosa, speaking to a huge crowd in Durban, talked about his party, the African National Congress (ANC), and how they plan to keep moving forward. He knows there are big problems in South Africa like not enough jobs, lots of crime, and many people living in poverty. But he's hopeful that if the ANC wins big in the upcoming election, they can start fixing things.

Ramaphosa explained six main things the ANC wants to focus on to make South Africa better. He also mentioned that recent polls show the ANC might not win as much as before, which is a big deal since they've been in power for a long time.
He didn't shy away from talking about the tough times South Africa has been through, like not enough growth in the economy and lots of corruption scandals. Ramaphosa said he knows people are fed up with broken promises and political fights.

But he's not giving up hope. He believes that by working together, South Africa can overcome its problems. The ANC has some plans to create more jobs and help the economy grow. Ramaphosa wants everyone to know that even though things are tough, there's still a chance to make things better for everyone in South Africa.
