Ghanaian sensation Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has shattered the Guinness World Record for the longest solo singing marathon, outperforming the previous title holder, India's Sunil Waghmare. Embarking on her musical journey, named the "afuaasantewaasingathon," at the stroke of midnight on December 24, 2023, Afua's remarkable feat unfolded over an inspiring five-day stretch. 

Undaunted by physical challenges, she concluded her extraordinary singing marathon on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the stroke of midnight, amassing a staggering 126 hours of uninterrupted vocal prowess.
Afua's triumph not only eclipses the official record of 105 hours set by Sunil Waghmare but also establishes an unofficial record of 126 hours and 52 minutes. 

This phenomenal accomplishment surpasses Waghmare's mark by an impressive additional 21 hours, solidifying Afua Asantewaa's place in the annals of record-breaking musical achievements.
