Here, they bore witness to a monumental moment in maritime history as three state-of-the-art Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes and a dozen Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes, valued at over $50 million, graced the terminal. This substantial investment was conceived to turbocharge productivity and supercharge the Port of Tema's competitive edge.Samara, brimming with pride, elaborated on the Port of Tema's newfound competitiveness, thanks to its expanded handling capacity.

 He underscored the pivotal role ports play in the development of emerging economies like Ghana, emphasizing the importance of proactive investment in enhancing port capabilities. "We cannot simply wait for demand to surge before reacting with infrastructure development," Samara asserted. "We must seize the moment and invest, proactively shaping our future."Among the chorus of accolades, Rasak Ngula, the Managing Director of Maersk Ghana, hailed MPS's audacious crane investment as a game-changer.
